Nestled in a serene wooded valley, my recent stay at the barn conversion in South Cornwall was quite a pleasant surprise. As an avid traveler, my family and I aimed to explore six National Trust properties in six days, and this location proved to be central-Truro was just a 15-20 minute drive away. The barn itself was comfortable and featured a well-equipped kitchen and a cozy sitting area where we could unwind after our daily adventures. We appreciated the outdoor dining area surrounded by towering trees, providing a peaceful retreat. the flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi were also nice touches that added a level of convenience. Parking was hassle-free right outside the door, and the hosts, while present, were unobtrusive and helpful. A thoughtful bottle of wine awaited us on arrival-much needed after our long journey. For those seeking a mix of comfort and accessibility in South Cornwall, this spot offers decent value without compromising on essentials.
